TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. General Provisions1.1. These terms and conditions govern the legal obligations between the operator of the Tantra Katarsis Plzen massage salon, located at Edvarda Beneše 6, Plzeň – Jižní předměstí, Ing. Natalie Kohoutova, ID No. 08101671, Edvarda Beneše 6, 30100 Plzeň (hereinafter referred to as the "Operator"), and the purchaser and user of the provided services (hereinafter referred to as the "Customer").
1.2. The Operator and its employees provide massage and regenerative services based on the Operator’s valid trade license and documents certifying professional competence. The services provided are an effective complementary tool to maintain physical and mental health and to harmonize the body. They do not replace medical care and cannot substitute necessary medical treatment.
1.3. By ordering a massage for a specific date via phone (including SMS), electronic means (e.g., email), or in person (hereinafter referred to as a "Communication Channel"), the Customer agrees to the Operator’s terms and conditions.

2. Massage Voucher2.1. A massage voucher can be purchased through the partner platform www.poukazyknam.cz, which the Customer is redirected to from the salon’s website www.vedome-masaze.cz (hereinafter the "Salon Website"), either electronically or in paper form. Vouchers can also be ordered via email, phone, or in person after prior phone arrangement directly at the salon without an intermediary. The voucher is issued to the purchaser upon payment, either by bank transfer or in cash upon personal delivery.
Vouchers can be issued electronically in PDF format or in paper form, which can be sent by mail in an envelope or handed over in person at the salon. If the voucher cannot be used due to government restrictions or salon operation limitations related to epidemiological measures, the validity of the voucher is automatically extended by the period of the restriction.
2.2. If purchased electronically or via a phone order form, the Customer may cancel the voucher purchase within 14 days of receipt. The paid amount will be refunded to the purchaser, provided the voucher has not yet been redeemed. The Operator will refund the amount to the bank account from which the payment was made, provided a receipt or other proof of payment is presented. Upon refund, the voucher is canceled and cannot be used.
2.3. After the voucher expires, it cannot be redeemed unless otherwise agreed between the Customer and the Operator.
2.4. The service for which the voucher is issued can be exchanged at the time of booking for another service offered by the salon of equal or lesser value. If exchanged for a more expensive service, the Customer can pay the difference.

3. Booking Services3.1. Appointment Booking
The visit must be scheduled and reserved via the Communication Channel specified in clause 1.3 – by phone, email, or in person. At booking, the date, time, type and duration of the massage, and the selection of the masseur/masseuse must be agreed upon. The agreed appointment constitutes a binding order. If the Customer uses a voucher, the voucher number must be provided when booking; otherwise, the voucher may not be accepted, and the Customer will be required to pay for the service. The Operator reserves the right to allow adequate time for preparation and service delivery at the agreed appointment.
3.2. Arrival and Duration
The Customer must arrive at the salon at the agreed time. Early arrivals may be asked to wait. The Customer has the option to shower before and after the massage.
3.3. Payment
Cash payments are made before the massage begins. Card or electronic payments are not accepted. Cashless payments can be made by bank transfer based on an invoice, which must be completed before the scheduled massage.
3.4. Rescheduling or Cancellation
If the Customer cannot attend the massage at the agreed time, they must notify the Operator at least 3 hours before the scheduled start. Later notifications are considered as absence.
3.5. Absences and Delays
If the Customer is late by more than 15 minutes or fails to show up, a fee equivalent to the full massage will be charged, even if the massage duration is shortened, unless otherwise agreed.
3.6. Refusal of Massage
The massage may be refused by the Operator or its employees if:
a) the Customer has contraindications for massage
b) the Customer is intoxicated or under the influence of drugs
c) the Customer is in an unsatisfactory hygienic or psychological condition
d) the Customer requests a different service than booked and offered
In case a voucher is used, an alternative appointment will be offered. Paid vouchers can be refunded upon presentation of a receipt or other proof of payment, handled according to the complaint procedure in clause 5.
3.7. Early Termination
A massage may be terminated early if:
a) the Customer shows clear contraindications
b) the Customer exhibits signs of immaturity or substance dependence
c) the Customer behaves inappropriately despite repeated warnings
d) the Customer requests services different from those agreed
In such cases, the Customer is charged only for the portion of the massage actually received. If a voucher is used, a proportional refund will be issued, based on the purchase price of the voucher, not the current price list. Refunds are handled according to the procedure in clause 5.
3.8. Personal Belongings and Valuables
The salon provides a safe environment. Customers may store personal items in the massage room. The Operator is not responsible for lost items, except for valuables stored in designated areas. Forgotten items are kept for 3 months.
3.9. Price List
The massage price list is available at the salon and on the website. All prices are final. The Operator is not a VAT payer.

4. Courses4.1. Courses and schedules are listed on the Operator’s website. Courses are led by the Operator or an employee (hereinafter the "Instructor"). Registration occurs via provided Communication Channels; the place is reserved only after payment of a deposit by bank transfer. Deposits are non-refundable, except if the course cannot take place due to serious reasons on the Operator’s side (e.g., Instructor illness, insufficient participants). If the participant cannot attend, the reservation may be transferred to another participant of the same gender; for couples, only to another couple.
4.2. The Operator ensures an equal number of male and female participants. Couples attending together may cooperate for the duration of the course.
4.3. Full payment at the start of the course confirms the participant’s commitment. Refunds are issued only in case of early termination due to Operator’s reasons. In case of government restrictions or epidemiological measures, deposits or full payments are refunded or rescheduled with the Customer.

5. Complaints5.1. The Customer must immediately and reliably prove that the complaint relates to an error by the Operator or its employees. Complaints are submitted in person or in writing to the Operator’s address. Irrelevant complaints may incur administrative costs for the Customer.
5.2. In case of refused or early-terminated massages (clauses 3.6 and 3.7) when a voucher is used, refunds will be decided in writing or electronically within 30 days of the scheduled or canceled appointment. Email complaints may be sent to natalie@tantrakatarsis.com. Customers may first report issues to the operator by phone at +420721942746.

6. Final Provisions6.1. Workplace Safety and Risk Prevention
By entering the premises, the Customer agrees to comply with workplace safety rules and instructions from the Operator or massage staff.
6.2. Validity and Effectiveness
These terms and conditions have been effective since 01.01.2022. They are monitored and updated in accordance with legislation and changes or expansions of salon services.
